Inequalities: 5(6-4v)=v+21
with absolute values:.. l5b+9l + 16 = 2
These two are causing me trouble. What are we supposed to do? lol

The first one: 5(6-4v) = v+21
Multiply: 30 - 20v = v + 21
Subtract 30 from both sides and get: -20v = v - 9
Subtract v and get: -21v = -9
Divide both sides by -21 and then reduce ads get: 9/21 which reduces down to 3/7
The second problem: |5b + 9|+ 16 = 2
Subtract 16 from both sides to get |5b+9| = -14
Take out absolute value bars, get 5b+9 = -14
Subtract 9 and get 5b = -23
Divide both sides by 5 and u end up with -23/5. But since it's an absolute value, it changes to POSITIVE 23/5
Hope this helps! (I hate algebra 2 too lol boring class but I'm glad I could help ya out)
