Will i be able to get an A, in my class

if you could show me how you did it, it'll be nice


i had 3 mid termsmy ave. on the mid term was 83% and midterms are worth 33%

we had 7 quizzes and my percent is 79%. quizzes are worth 25%

attendance 10% which i got 100%

lab final 5% i got 100%

the finals is worth 27%, will it be able to bring my grade to an A?

0.83*0.33
+0.79*0.25
+1*0.1
+1*0.05
equals 62.14%

If you got 100% on the final, you'd have an 89.14% average.

Weighted average: (MT * .33) + (QZ * .25) + (ATT * .10) + (LBF * .05) + (F * .27) = Final Grade

Assuming an A is a 90 then the following occurs: (83 * .33) + (79 * .25) + (100 * .10) + (100 + .05) + (F * .27) = 90

Solve for F: 62.14 + (F * .27) = 90

Subtract 62.14 to each side: F * .27 = 27.86

Divide .27 to each side: F = 103

This means that you need a 103 in the final exam to get an A. If the maximum points is 100 then you will not be able to get an A.
