I don't understand general solutions for trigonometry

[From: ] [author: ] [Date: 11-12-08] [Hit: ]
On [0,2pi], the solutions are obviously, 0 pi and 2pi. You can see if you add pi to any solution you get another solution. This means that any integer k times pi is a solution.......
can someone explain this to me please and thanks

Since trig functions are periodic, there are an infinite amount of solutions. Take an easy on for example: sin(x) = 0. On [0,2pi], the solutions are obviously, 0 pi and 2pi. You can see if you add pi to any solution you get another solution. This means that any integer k times pi is a solution.
