!though, the whole solution will be any positive interger except zero..........
What is the solution set of the equation...√x + 1 = x - 1

Thanks!!! xoxo

I concur with the previous answer (Demarie) (take a set of number and just apply them)
though, the whole solution will be any positive interger except zero....

x = 4

Solution:
sqrt(4) + 1 = 2 + 1 = 3

x - 1 = 4 - 1 = 3

To find a solution set you can use any number.
Just pick any 4 numbers and substitute them one by one for x.
The results are your solutions set :)

-
x+1=x^2-2x+1

x^2-3x=0
x=0 is not solution as 1is not equal to -1
x=3 is solution
