(Think of m as one apple,Now you can divide each side by 4, so that m is alone on its side of the equal sign.Hope I helped!......
ok so it has a polygon and the and the angles are 100 60 3m and m
first i did 4-2---> 2 times 180= 360
so then i added 100 and 60 and got 160...
so i took that and subtracted that with 360 and got 200
that's as far as i got
neither my mom or dad could figure it out.
help :[

m = 50 degrees
(I'm assuming that that's what you were needing to solve for)

I know you've already got this part by I'll explain it anyways.
You were given a polygon with 4 angles. All polygons/shapes with 4 angles have their angles adding up to 360. (Think of a square - it has 4 angles of 90 degrees each, and 90 + 90 + 90 + 90 = 360)

Knowing this, here's what you can do to find "m":

100 + 60 + 3m + m = 360
160 + 3m + m = 360

Minus 160 from both sides:

160 + 3m + m - 160 = 360 - 160
3m + m = 200

Okay here's where you had already gotten to, right?
Notice that 3m and m are "like-terms", meaning you can add them together. (Think of m as one apple, so 3m + m = 3 apples + 1 apple = 4 apples = 4m)

3m + m = 200
4m = 200

Now you can divide each side by 4, so that m is alone on its side of the equal sign.

4m/4 = 200/4
m = 50

You can check this if you want:
100 + 60 + 3(50) + (50)
= 160 + 150 + 50
= 360

Hope I helped!
