Thanks-I would plot these numbers on Microsoft excel then insert a scatter plot then add a 2nd order polynomial trendline, not linear. I plotted it and the 2nd order polynomial I get is y = -0.1458x^2 + 4.0655x + 51.Hope this helps.......
I have the time of the day and temperatures for a specific day and I need to find the quadratic model that represents that. The set of numbers would be (8,74) (10,78) (12,79) (14,80) (16,79) (18,76) (20,75) Please I really need help in this! Thanks
