50 for adults and $1.25 for children. O a certain day, 700 people went to the theatre and $1375 was collected. Using equation below, determine how many children and how many adults attended the show.......
here are the questions I have trouble with. Please explain them to me? If you only know how to do some, please still don't hesitate to answer.

1) The Pioneer High Track coach has a group of 9 runners from which to choose a 4 person relay team. How many different 4 person teams can be formed from this group of runners?

2)which system of equations represents a pir of parallel lines and no solution:
i know the answer is:
3x-3y=6
2x-5y=-8

but how do you find this out? How do you solve this to tell if its parallel?

3)The admission fee of a theatre is $2.50 for adults and $1.25 for children. O a certain day, 700 people went to the theatre and $1375 was collected. Using equation below, determine how many children and how many adults attended the show.

2.5x+1.25y=1375
x+y=700

how do i do this?

4) What is the simplified form of (square root sign will be used as **) *xy(3 power)* x *x(3 power)y*?

5) given the equation: y=3x-4 which equation would give you a system of equations with perpendicular lines and one solution?
The answer is: y= -1/3x + 3
how do i find this out?

5)Given the equation: y=3x-5 which equation forms a system of equations that (2,1) is the only solution?
The answer is: 2x-3y=1
how do i figure this out?

6)the value (3 power)*90* is between what 2 integers?
how do i figure this out?

Thank you SO much! You don't know how much it means to me that you would help me out! THANK YOU THANK YOU FROM THE BOTTOM MY HEART!

Permutations:

9P4 = 9*8*7*6 = 3024

This is called the slot method. I find it the easiest way to solve permutations. There are 4 spots or slots on the relay team, and you have 9 possible runners to fill them with. It's a probability thing. Once you've chosen one player, you cannot choose them again, so that leaves 8 to choose from. 9*8=72. You choose another one from the remaining 7 players. 9*8*7=504. For your last and fourth player, you have six more runners to choose from. 9*8*7*6=3024.
