= -7-Dude use parenthesis, always important. So: (3-(2(-1)^3)) + ((-3)(4)) so do each side separately from the plus sign.-1^3 will always be negative times 2 equals -2 now. 3-(-2)= 5 thats one side cleared.I must be wrong too because thats what I got.......
I keep getting -12 but its wrong. Can anyone remember the order of operations here? thanks")

1) 3-[2(-1)^3]
=3-[2(-1)]
=3-(-2)
=3+2
=5

2) (-3)X4
= -12

3) 5 + [-12]
= 5 -12
= -7

Dude use parenthesis, always important.

So: (3-(2(-1)^3)) + ((-3)(4)) so do each side separately from the plus sign.

-1^3 will always be negative times 2 equals -2 now. 3-(-2)= 5 that's one side cleared.
-3*(4)= -12

now 5 + (-12)= -7
