Dude use parenthesis, always important.
So: (3-(2(-1)^3)) + ((-3)(4)) so do each side separately from the plus sign.
-1^3 will always be negative times 2 equals -2 now. 3-(-2)= 5 that's one side cleared.
-3*(4)= -12
now 5 + (-12)= -7
