Take logs of both sides
log 9x log 9 = log 25
log 9x = log 25 / log 9
9x = 10^( log 25 / log 9)
x = 1/9 *10^( log 25 / log 9)
= 1/9* 10^1.46
= 1/9 * 29.1
= 3.24

and 1/2lny-3lnx^2
= ln y^1/2 - ln (x^2)^3
= ln y^1/2 - ln x^6
= ln (y^1/2 /x^6)
