Why do people act like Germany is evil and not Russia, Poland and Spain

Excuse me, but last I checked, those places (esecially the Spanish) were so bad even Hitler was afraid to mess with them. That says a lot.

Is it just because Germany is an "uncool" country and those others (especially "glamorous" Spain) are cooler and people are hush-hush about admitting that they did unspeakably evil things too? Why do people feel the need to hate Germans so much? They arent to blame for their past any more than any other country is.

Yeah, Russia had evil dictators, however Hitler was not afraid of dealing with them, as you said. As for Spain they again had a dictator, hut his crimes seem insifnificant, comparing to Hitler.

Nobody says Germany is evil at present.

However, less than 100 years ago, Germany was source of Nazism, which killed millions of inncent people. Totally innocent civillians: Jews, Slavs, Romani, Homosexuals, Clergy

Poland was first country to be attacked in WWII, on 1st September of 1939.

Russia I could understood, but at first it was Hitler's ally, then Russians fought against Nazis, so again WTF?

i think your reasoning is poor especially with spain you have franco who was bad, but he wasn't hitler or stalin bad , poland wasn't bad, and although a few murky incidents when they had an "empire" they've been a fairly peaceful country spending most of their time under the jack boot of russia and germany/prussia

but basically, history is written by the winners, british empire invented concentration camps, and stalin killed a **** load more people but Hitler is still the most "recognisable" evil

Hitler did mess with the Spanish. Germany used the Spanish Civil war for practice prior to WW2. Hitler also invaded Poland and Russia.

I think the only reason why people dont like Germany is because the germans (nazis) started the Holocuast, so that might have caused the world to look at them different.
