So, I'm a 15 year old girl and I need to find out what of engineering I want to do. I need to know for my second year of engineering class in high school (I'm a sophmore). I've already marked out Pharmaceutical engineering and Aerospace. But there are still alot out there, but I'm not always sure if I could find a type of engineering that kinda fits.
But if I can't find anything, I'll just probably just drop engineering next year and focus on actual Pharmacy (which is my main career goal but I need a backup).
Things I'm kind of looking for/About Me:
1. I really don't want a career that would involve things like heavy lifting.
2. I don't actually want to be building anything like houses, planes, roads, cars.etc
3. I've been wanting something more science or computer related instead of factory worker.
4. I don't want the job to be too dangerous, (just in case I have kid when I'm older)
5. I love working at computer stations but I have no idea about computer parts or hardware.
6. I need a discipline that would have a good chance of me being able to find a job.
7. I wouldn't mind creating objects on computers or on sketches.
8. Something that I could have enough pay to support maybe me + a kid.
9. Something with set things for me to do, instead of alot of improvisation.
Right now, the only thing I looks good is agricultural engineering (but I still need to do more research about pay, the job itself, and if I'd be even able to find a job). But idk if taking engineering was a mistake or not.

If you like pharmacy then chemical engineering might be a good fit for you. Most of your criteria can be applied to any engineering division. I would suggest looking at broader engineering disciplines (civil, mechanical, chemical, electrical) don't worry about being so specific.

I think you need to go back and look at what engineers actually do. Most engineering jobs are office jobs and will meet your first 4 criteria. And even if you're in a factory doesn't mean you're working on the factory floor; factories have offices too.
As for #9, you don't have to be inventing something all the time, but if you don't want a job that requires much thinking, engineering may not be for you. Low-level engineering jobs in big companies might get assigned tasks by managers, but if it was something easy to do, they wouldn't hire an engineer to do it.
