I REALLY LIKE MATH!!!! I want a math intensive career. I was accepted to MIT. What should I study ? It's between those two for me..

**** BONUS*****

Can anyone recommend a more math intensive career than those two ?

If you are at MIT, there should be enough Math for anyone. Try looking in online engineering textbooks to see how much math. Also, the maths in engineering is different from that in Maths, and perhaps even Physics. If you are mathematician I guess you might find engineering frustrating as engineers are 'users' of maths rather than mathematical purists (certainly in professional engineering) - however if you want to apply maths to real-world problems, engineering would be it.

Also, I don't agree with Rouse (Top contributor) that electrical engineering students who struggle with maths switch to mech eng and it's easier. Whilst mech eng does include some more practical fields, anyone who specialises in fluid mechanics, vibration, stress analysis, controls or any of many other disciplines, will find some maths there for sure.

The mathematics of either discipline is fairly intensive, although a math or physics student might take exception to this statement. I am an electrical engineer, so I may harbor some bias, but in general students who are very versatile in mathematics do well in an electrical engineering curriculum. Electrical engineering students who have less aptitude in math often change their major to mechanical engineering, which is often a more comfortable fit.

i think mechanical engineering.
if you want a lot of math, try computer engineering. It has math, math and math

Physicist or mathematician is about the only two more math intensive careers that I can think of.
