Nope.
You would need a whole new laser diode. First the components in the laser aren't meant to handle any tweaks you make to the laser for higher power, so when you open your laser, and turn that small screw to make it more powerful, all you will be doing is letting more current flow through the components so they can burn out, and you won't even notice a difference it brightness. After a few times of using it your laser will not be working anymore because you damaged it. I tried this a few years ago, and failed, in about a week or two my laser didn't work, and it wasn't a dollar store laser neither, the thing cost me almost 50 dollars. You would be better off buying one.
Yes I looked at many youtube laser mod videos before I did it, and can say they didn't have there lasers too long after doing it either.

Cheap class 2 lasers can burn your retina without making any modifications and the damage will be permanent.
Can a laser pointer burn paper? It might be able to scorch paper if the beam was focused properly, but there probably is not enough energy to cause combustion.

Most laser pointers are class 2 lases and will not "burn" anything BUT can cause eye damage.
Be cairful with lasers!

Only if you take everything out of it and replace it with a powerful enough laser.
