Local supply store guys say 1m8 means 1.8 m ohm, others around the internet state 1 8 m ohm resistor. Also if anyone can tell me what I may substitute for the MPSA's I'd be over joyed. I'm gathering that they are NPN BJT, so I went down the the local RS and picked up these; http://www.radioshack.com/product/index.jsp?productId=2062586
I'd rather be sure before I go about questionable activities.
This is the schematic.

1M8 means 1.8 MΩ or 1800000 Ω
1M2 means 1.2 MΩ
1m8 could mean 1.8 mΩ, 0.0018 ohms, but that is not a practical value.
Be very careful of case M is NOT equal to m. M is mega, x 1 million, whereas m is milli, 1 thousandth.
I looked at the schematic and those are indeed 1.8 MΩ, not milliohms.
