New electronics are required to be built with lead-free solder by the RoHS directive. You are legally free to use tin-lead solder to repair it, and you will not encounter any problems if you do so. For the best results, use a copper wick to pick up as much of the original lead-free solder as possible before you replace components.

If it's electronic type solder with rosin flux, fine. A few uses won't give you lead poisoning. I used it for decades with no problems.
Plumbers type solder with acid flux, no.
