Will you get in my van?

You mean spherical? Technically, yes. With the exception of course that it is slightly fatter at the equator due to the cetripetal forces acting on the inner workings and such. That being said, what kind of van do you have and what do you do in it? Is it down by a river somewhere? I find it mildly alarming that vans are regaining popularity in the "player" field. I belive that an entire generation has missed out on the prerequisite warning to not only avoid strangers, but especially those with vans. And especially those vans with tiny round windows. And shag carpet. And murals of western scenes with wolves... And real wolves.

Oblate spheriod. This means that the Earth is slightly flattened at the poles and slightly bulging at the Equator.

It is a sphere, but not a perfect one. Technically it's an ellipsoid. Because it is spinning it has a slightly smaller radius to the poles than to the equator by about 22 km.

you're right, it really is shaped like a pyramid, and I have a van of my own
