The color appears to be superficial as if someone colored it with a blue magic marker. The areas that can be seen through in the thickest part of the crystal are colorless. It could be calcite. I think I see a few of the cleavage planes. It doesn't have the yellowish ting but not all calcite does.
Edit: No, on closer examination I think it's quartz. The right end seems to be the pyramid. It appears to have gotten a bit of rough and tumble.

Sounds like calcite, a chrystalline mineral

I too think it is quartz that has colored blue. It doesn't look like a natural color.
