Well it's been a year since I've been to the beaches of south Carolina, and I was wondering how would I make salt water almost nearly the sane as ocean water? Would I just put salt in a bottle of water? Or is there more that I should do like put some sand in it? I'm asking this mainly because it's part if a project, and I need to make it almost the same as ocean salt water as possible

Seawater is water from a sea or ocean. On average, seawater in the world's oceans has a salinity of about 3.5% (35 g/L, or 599 mM). This means that every kilogram (roughly one litre by volume) of seawater has approximately 35 grams (1.2 oz) of dissolved salts (predominantly sodium (Na+
) and chloride (Cl−) ions).
So I say add salt to water, mix, and do this until you reach the pH of seawater.

Take the first answer and if you want to go further, look up the directions for mixing water for saltwater aquariums - if you need to minor components. Sand has nothing to do with it.
