Rb+1 or I-1 ? Why?
-
I-
adding electrons bloats up the ion (the minus)
taking electrons shrinks (the plus)

If you just compared the Rb with the I atoms uncharged Rb would be bigger but charging them into ions makes I^- almost as big as Rb neutral, and way bigger than Rb^+

I-1 will have the largest ionic radius. Ionic radius increases as you move down the periodic table, therefore I-1 (now Xe) has a larger radius than Rb+1 (now Kr) since XE is further down the periodic table than KR
