The solid state of matter at a given pressure is cooler than the same matter as a liquid. To go from liquid to solid, the matter must be cooler, which means it will contract which means it will be denser as a solid than a liquid.......
Explain at the molecular level the following properties of solids.

so do i just put like:

solids are very compack together make a definite shape and volume, as liquid had many spaces bewieen them makeing them more compressible, and is quicker to diffuse into neighboring media?

thats all i put?

Liquids are not compressible.
Matter generally expands when heated and contracts when cooled.
