How do I draw the metallic bonding in copper

[From: ] [author: ] [Date: 11-12-15] [Hit: ]
the electrons of all metals travel on the surface of the substance. So there is nothing hyou can draw.Next I assume yuou are refdering to theBohr system for showing hte electrons in an atom. This system does not work after Ar.From Na to Ar you only show the outer rings. After that we are talking about orbitals,......
Ok so I know that you draw the positive ions (circles) and put Cu+ in them, but how many circles should I draw and where should I put the delocalised electrons?

Also what does the question mean by "label the ordered arrangement of the ions"

Thanks in advance.

Also if you could sort of explain how to get it I would be gratefull aswell.

First of all, the electrons of all metals travel on the surface of the substance. So there is nothing hyou can draw.
Next I assume yuou are refdering to theBohr system for showing hte electrons in an atom.
This system does not work after Ar. (element # 18)
From Na to Ar you only show the outer rings. After that we are talking about orbitals, because the d orbitals hold 10 electrons and the f orbitals hold 14 electrons
Copper 1+ is {Ar} 4s1, 3d10.
