then I can get it.i know you need molar mass...molar mass of Cl:35.molar mass of z5nc:65.......
mass of zinc: .15g
mass of zinc chloride: .327g

Apparently the answer is .177g but how do I get that? Please help this is the only thing I can't get :( I just need like, how do I set it up firstly? then I can get it.
i know you need molar mass...
molar mass of Cl: 35.453
molar mass of z5nc: 65.3

-
mass Cl- = mass zinc chloride - mass zinc = 0.327 - 0.15 = 0.177 g

I think you might be over complicating this one. If zinc chloride mass is .327, and zinc mass is .15, then just subtract out the zinc from the zinc chloride and the weight you are left with is the chloride.

.327g - .15g = .177g
