77 x 10^-3 moles = 4.77 x 10^-3 x 44 = 0.......
A balloon has a volume of 0.138L and contains 0.0106 mol of CO2. How many grams of CO2 must be added to expand the balloon to 2.00 x 10^2 mL? Assuming ideal gas and STP. Please let me know the formula for future problems. Thanks

Use (V1/n1) = (V2/n2)
(0.138 / 0.0106) = [0.2 / (0.0106 + x)]
13.01 = [0.2 / (0.0106 + x)]
(0.0106 + x) = (0.2 / 13.01)
(0.0106 + x) = 0.0153
x = 4.77 x 10^-3 moles = 4.77 x 10^-3 x 44 = 0.21g
