Compare miscible and immiscible

Hence if a liquid is miscible it will mix into a solution, whereas if its immiscible the liquid will not mix into a solution. An example of an immiscibility is when you try and mix oil in water, the oil will not dissolve within the water and is, hence, immiscible.......
miscible= mix together without separating as water and alcohol
immiscible will separate if mixed together as in oil and water

miscibility is basically the ability of a liquid to mix in a solution to form a homogeneous solution --> homogeneous meaning, having the same state, or being in the same state. Hence if a liquid is miscible it will mix into a solution, whereas if it's immiscible the liquid will not mix into a solution. An example of an immiscibility is when you try and mix oil in water, the oil will not "dissolve" within the water and is, hence, immiscible.
