Heeey,
Next year i will course my freshmen year, and i will take chemistry. I had never had chemistry before, i only had biology and physics.
I dont want to fail in chemistry, so i want to know in advance what is chemistry, what i need to study more and know more. :D
Another quick question, do you use math is chemistry???
Is chemistry easy for you?
Thank you in advance!!!! :D

Chemistry is the science of matter. It studies what matter is and how it reacts. You do use math in chemistry, but it isn't usually difficult math. Usually, mostly algebra to solve equations. I found chemistry pretty easy and enjoyed it, with the exception of organic chemistry. To get started and be prepared for chemistry, I would suggest being familiar with the structure of an atom and the periodic table of elements. You should learn that stuff in the course, but if you are already familiar with them, you will have a leg up.

is the science of matter and the changes it undergoes. The science of matter is also addressed by physics, but while physics takes a more general and fundamental approach, chemistry is more specialized, being concerned with the composition, behavior (or reaction), structure, and properties of matter, as well as the changes it undergoes during chemical reactions.[ It is a physical science which studies various substances, atoms, molecules, crystals and other aggregates of matter whether in isolation or combination, and which incorporates the concepts of energy and entropy in relation to the spontaneity of chemical processes.
YES chemistry uses a lot of math.Once you understand the basic concepts WELL, you will find it really very easy.So Go ahead and do your best.,You will definitely SHINE

Most chemistry maths involves rearranging equations. Especially various forms of the straight line equation Y = MX + C.
You should be aware of patterns in the periodic table and know that chemistry at its heart is the study of how electrons behave. Electrons influence all of chem in orbitals to bonding. Be prepared though it is a very expansive subject.
