Yesterday I was driving down 85 in Georgia and saw a little fine cloud of dark smoke-like mist emanating from the tip top of a single tall pine tree. The tree was about 75 feet tall. The vapor looked like it was coming from the very top point of the tree and was rather small. It wasn't puffy, but smooth being shaped by the slight wind coming from the west. Id say it was about 4-5 feet long horizontally and maybe a foot vertically at it's thickest point. It wasn't jetting out in billows or anything. It was very subtle but distinct.
At first I thought it was a cloud in the sky from my perspective, because it was vapory and a little dark. As I got closer and my perspective changed, it distinctly was coming from the tree top. It was like a little vapor cloud sticking there. Any guesses as what it could be?

Could be pollen...could be dew or snow evaporating and becoming mist.
