All animals are predatory and everything they eat was once a living being. Glucose is the basis of the global energy supply available to animals, thanks to photosynthesis. Glucose is stripped of its energy through a series of enzyme catalyzed reations. Captured energy is used to form ATP or adenosine triphosphate which is the immediate source of energy for all living things. We share a lot in common. We should not eat our fellow mammals.
