I KNOW genes are hard to tell, but can you at least make an educated guess?
Mother has brown eyes with a green tint to them (wouldn't really call them hazel) and light brown hair as a child. Her father's side of the family all have dark brown eyes and dark hair and her mother's side all have blue eyes and blonde hair.
Father has light brown hair and blue eyes. Both his mother and fathers' families have blue eyes and light brown hair.
Since there are a lot of blue eyes coming into play, would the recessive gene of blue eyes overcome the tiny percent of brown eyes? I know brown is dominant but you would figure the blue eyes would take over. As for hair, I would say very light brown hair/dirty blonde?

I really had to read this over and think about it. You are right impossible to predict. But my guess is baby would take on mothers family traits with support from you. So i would think the baby would be light hair and blue eyes and baby's hair will darken as the baby matures. Sounds like you could have 4 kids and they would all be different combinations. Congratulations. My daughter just born has sandy blond hair blue eyes. Mom has green eyes red hair. I have brown eyes brown hair. Never know.
