Someone got a lower grade than me in the KS3 Triple Science exam, but got into Triple Science whereas I didn't

A 6A is a minimum to take Triple Science at my School for GCSE.... And since theres a limit of ppl per class, they have to go from specific marks in the case of e.g. About 50 people getting 6As..... My friend and I both got 6A, therefore it should go from marks, right? I got the higher mark yet I didn't get Triple Science whereas she did!!! I know you may think it may due to behaviour, but I work 110% in Science, whereas she always just does her homework in the morning. Triple Science is much better on your entry forms when signing up for universities (I want to go to Imperial College London to study medicine) and this could jeopardise my chances. This girl is constantly rubbing it in my face how she didn't even try and doesn't really care about taking it or not (So why don't you stop taking up a valuable place and let someone who will actually try hard and care) and this makes me realise how unfair it is! Do you think I should enquire about it and what should I say?

If you want to study medicine then you need to be taking triple science.

Go make a fuss at school. With your parents. Up to and including "I will not be attending this school next year unless I am taking triple science." You'll need to mean it. Start researching the other schools you can attend, right now, together with your options for homeschooling.
