What is a distinguishing visible feature of each stage of the cell cycle?
I know what all the stages look like but I need help describing it.

Interphase-blob like because the chromatids are enclosed in the nucleus
Mitosis:
Prophase- nucleus degrading... Can see the nucleus start to disappear
Metaphase: chromosomes line up at the equator and are attached to spindle fibers
Anaphase- sister chromatids pulling apart. Moving to opposite poles of the cell
Telophase- chromosomes at opposite sides of cell
Cytokinesis- Two daughter cells
Meiosis is approximately the same thing
