Does embalming fluid really make corpses move

I'm watching the original House of Wax right now and in a scene at the morgue, one of the corpses sat up on the slab. One of the men that had just brought another body into the morgue asked what was the matter with that body that moved. The other guy said that it's the embalming fluid that makes them jump and he'd get use to it. Is that really true?

(I'm not sure I spelled embalming right hahahaha)

It isn't true, if they did move it would be from Rigor Mortis. Which is when the dead body tenses up which causes it to move.

I doubt they move enough to sit up. That's just movie crap. But yea bodys release gases that could make noises and twitch. ........that's why they're still fair game when it comes to gettin me smash on.

And who goes online and asks a question like this in mid movie, it kinda ruins the suspense and everything jeez.
