"why do people thing just because Christianity is "wrong" evolution must be right?"
As I'm not aware of anybody ever having reached that conclusion, you'd better ask somebody who actually states that, assuming you can find someone. The overwhelming evidence from biology indicating evolution is part of reality has nothing in particular to do with views on Christianity.
"It seems like one or the other for many people, why does nobody consider we may not know the answer to why life is here..."
Evolutionary theory has nothing to do with why we might be here. It's an explanation for the variety of lifeforms on the planet.
"... evolution is a theory wrought with assumptions and misleading thinking processes."
Before reaching such a conclusion, for goodness sakes find out what evolutionary theory's actually about. Your assumptions are misleading because, in this case, they're wrong.

Not all people believe this. Some people link the two together, both science and religion. You state that evolution is theory with assumptions, however christianity is just that -- a theory. In my opinion, neither of the two are more correct than one another. However, I do lean more towards evolution as it is based on scientific research and fact.

Who are these people you refer to and why do they have it so backwards? The only people I've met who think anything like that are those who think it's the other way around: Since evolution is right Christianity must be wrong (despite the fact that most Christians accept it).
"why does nobody consider we may not know the answer to why life is here"
Why would they? It's been explained perfectly well through science, the only other alternatives are religious ones. Rejecting scientific observation for no valid reason is ridiculous at the best of times, denying it 'just because' without even a religious interest is even more nonsensical. At least people doing so because of what they were taught to believe have some kind of motive and explanation as to the huge abundance of evidence supporting natural claims.
"evolution is a theory wrought with assumptions and misleading thinking processes."
This is a blatant lie. Care to back up that claim?

"Either/or" thinking leads to trouble.
"Why do people thing..."
What's a "people thing"?
