A) allowing previously used farmland go fallow and begin to fill in with weeds and then shrubs and saplings
B) importing an Asian insect into the United States to control a weed that competes with staple crops releasing sterilized rainbow trout to boost the sport fishing of a river system that contains native brook trout
C) trapping and relocating large predators, such as mountain lions, that pose a threat as they move into areas of relatively dense human populations
D) replanting after a clear cut, a monoculture of Douglas fir trees on land that consisted of old growth Douglas fir, western cedar, and western hemlock
I wrote D for my answer and got it wrong. I read that habitat loss is the single greatest threat to biodiversity, hence my answer. So I'm a little confused.

Question- Is the trout one separate from the insect one? I'll go under the assumption it does because other wise it doesn't make sense to me.
So now on to why you got it wrong, replanting after a clear cut means that once everything has been cleared out, you're coming in and adding new things so you're actually adding to biodiversity by planting the Douglas Firs.
My best guess a to which one is right would be importing B) importing an Asian insect into the United States to control a weed that competes with staple crops. I chose this one because those insects will kill the weed and possible other plant species thus causing there to be less biodiversity because the plants are no longer there.
