I majored in biology and I think it strengthened my awareness of the supernatural. Seeing life in all those different forms doing such incredible work with nothing more than physical elements is quite an affirmation, even for a born skeptic like me. It's a self evident proof that some kind of true magic really does exist, and for many people that transfers a confirmation of their religious ideas.

No it doesn't because God is not a scientific concept. The study of Biology as a Science cannot invoke God as an explanation for anything. But Biology cannot exclude the possibility of a God.
