not sure how to set up the problem.(this is just a review, needed some help studying, thanks for any help)-If you know the electric field you can multiply by the charge to get the force on it.Once you have the force you can integrate it over distance in the usual way to find the work.When the motion is perpendicular to the field (force) there will be no work done.......
Two parallel plates have an electric field of 600N/C. how much work is needed to move a 3pC charge 4cm against the electric field and parallel to the electric field.
