List the important features of the Skeletal System.

i want to the know the five important features of the skeletal system. thanks for your help!!!!!!!!

- Made of bones
- Protects the internal organs
- Gives posture
- Works with muscle system to produce movement
- Gives mechanical strength.

1. it keeps the body in line, w/o it we would look like jello
2. it its made of cartilage which is protein, it holds other parts of the body together e.g. arm, leg.

humans are only creatures that stand up straight. early in our evolution, are ancestors used it as a means to reach food in high places like in trees or shrubs. to get fruits, nuts, water droplets entrenched on the leaves. in addition to having open hands [bigger than other primates] they used their ability to climb & detach sticks & pick up logs to use to make shelter, weapons, ways of transportation, like crossing a creek.
the skeletal system is what makes vertebrates different from invertebrates; arthropods, gastropods, annelids, cnidarian..etc the DNA in our bodies determines how long are skeletal system will grow. a person who is 7ft has a longer skeletal system than a 4ft person.

It also houses the bone marrow, The bone marrow replaces the blood cells.

It's made of bones.
