how did the universe begin?

answers:
goring say: From the beginning as indicated in the Biblical record of Creation.
-
Ronald 7 say: It was a Quark of Nature
-
hoarseman say: "Once upon a time ----"
-
Too-Da-Loo! say: According to those who witnessed it, everyone was like "Whoooooahhh.....!"
-
Starrysky say: There were no witnesses, none are able to see all of the universe or of our local universe among many others, just a part of the detectable or visible universe bounded by the speed of light. With no facts on distant past, or extents of the present, or how the future will happen, guesses are few and probably inaccurate about start of the "universe".

Jeffrey K say: Most quantum gravity theories seem to indicate time is not what we think it is. The usual linear time line leads to problems of first cause or creation from nothing or infinite existence. But time did not exist at or near the beginning. Nobody knows what existed instead or how our idea of time came about. When the correct theory of time is found, we will be amazed at the elegance and simplicity of the origin of the universe. Just wait and see.

Donut Tim say: There is no evidence for or against the universe having an infinitely long past. Physicists and philosophers remain unsure about what, if anything preceded the Big Bang. Many refuse to speculate, doubting that information from any such prior state could ever be accessible.
(One should not confuse a possible origin of the universe with the big bang. The big bang is the “expansion” of the universe and is still visibly in progress. Evidence indicates that the present expansion had a start. Sometimes the phrase big bang is used to mean the “start” of the expansion.)

say: some say Big Bang , others say Adam and Eve others say it never began others say it’s an atom but the only thing we know is that it’s mysterious like a fart in the wind
-
say: Genesis 1:1
-
bubby say: Our universe began with lots of blueprints and a good engineer.
-
Ron Paul 2012 say: God spoke the universe into being

Funnelweb say: Science takes us back to a point just after the Planck Epoch. During the Planck Epoch the temperature and energy density was so high that our understanding of physics breaks down. General relativity states that the Planck Epoch lasted 10^-43 seconds, and that the universe started as a gravitational singularity. However as our understanding of physics doesn't apply we don't know how long the Planck Epoch really lasted or whether it's even meaningful to talk about time at all under these conditions.
Physics explores the conditions of very high temperature and density with particle accelerators and observing the particle collisions which create those temperatures.. But to create the conditions of Planck temperature means accelerating particles to the point that they become tiny black holes, thus preventing observation.
Thus the conditions during the Planck Epoch may not only be unknown but perhaps unknowable by any scientific method. (Though that doesn't mean we shouldn't keep trying). And as any beginning of the Universe happened before the Planck Epoch, the beginning of the Universe is also unknown.

Adullah M say: From nothingness .

Rowan say: Energy cannot be created or destroyed it only changes form, every action has an equal and opposite reaction, in an endless chain of events. What goes up, must come down, hot energy expands, cold energy contracts, stars and black holes, all energy has gravity, everything is either energy or mass, or the quantum void, it's real simple. The thing standing in the way of science in that area was the fundamentalist nature of Christian scientists, who suppressed Einstein's cycling universe paper in English, until five years ago, because it meant, God didn't create the universe. Einstein got death threats for his books, in which he called the universe God, eternal energy being the definition of the word, and that popular religion was stupid and primitive. They changed his last words to God doesn't play dice, and the universe must have had a beginning. This has huge influence in this area, which is mostly speculation.

Kenny say: On the first day God made a Big Bang .
-
Bill-M say: It did not begin. It has always existed. The so called Big Bang was just a local event.
-
abby say: the singularity had a big bang .
-
Dev say: No one knows, and will ever know, how the universe began. You can't just put a camera before the universe was created and have it record the whole process. Everyone's theories are equally wrong unless they have absolute evidence of the way the universe was created. I want actual footage of it, and even if you do have footage some might say it was faked. How did the universe start? The big bang. Who created it? God. Who created God? It's an endless chain of creation.
-
Wolf say: God made everything so
-
kuththi the sword of destiny say: Scientists say it was through a Big Bang. And there is still the background radiation. There is the sound of the Big Bang,a clip from YouTube of how it sounded like. But though it is widely accepted,it is not proved.
Here is the clip of the radiation of the Big Bang

CarolOklaNola say: A white hole hyperinflated faster than the speed of light in a vacuum because a vacuum didn't exist yet until the universe expanded and cooled down enough for the laws of physics to be created and energy started converting I to matter..
We may NEVER KNOW exactly what happened. You can't rewind reality. Memory is malleable.

Acetek say: My favorite hypothesis is that our Universe and another Universe in the multiverse collided causing the expansion
or maybe is was just a fluctuation in the quantum field
