Do you think out in space there could be big giant aliens if the aliens had a bigger planet, sun, and moon?

Jeffrey K say: Sure. Anything is possible. But a bigger planet with stronger gravity would cause smaller creatures because a big one would not have bones strong enough to support its weight.
Most life is probably single cell microbes. They are the majority of life on earth.

Our hero was then chased by unruly Martians!!

the size of their star and moon would have nohting to do with them and how tall they are. it is all gravity
people who will be born and live there lives on Mars will eventually evolve to be taller and lanky and thin on the muscles because of the lower gravity. More gravity means shorter and stockier

Or, there may be no one out there at all... I don't think this is the case, but... it's a possibility.

marty say: Could be. With differences in gravitation and light there could be all kinds of differences in how other life forms on other planets evolve. Imagination and theory is all we can go on until such time as we are able to travel vast distances.

billrussell42 say: giant has many interpretations. If I define it as someone over 8 ft tall, certainly that is possible, and you don't need a bigger planet for that.
