They also seem to be over fields?

So, they are either aircraft or military/scientific research craft.

Pick up your telephone and make some calls. Ask your local TV station if they know. If you have a local miliatary base, call their PR dept. and ask them. You must have some idea who to talk to as opposed to these vague descriptions you are posting here. Find a friend with a decent camera and get some photos to post.
