Will we ever reach distant stars

To get out of the solar system, those costs need to be multiplied by (probably) a factor of 1000, so we're well over 15 trillion dollars.
To bring that gold and diamonds back, it will double the costs for the people part, not counting the extra weight. And not bringing it back simply means we don't get those resources. So, an ounce of gold would cost roughly $15,000,000,000,000 on earth. That's a far cry from the $1600 per ounce that gold was getting a few days ago...

I have just read an article about warp speed, the big brained guys said the if we could form a negative energy bubble we could fly a ship in side at more than the speed of light, this space would also be out of phase with time hence a time machine, the problem is we don't know how to create the energy needed to form the bubble, they were talking about the needed energy = to a years out put of our sun, this would have to be created by the ship in flight

The only way now that we will ever do this is to use the very popular theory of wormholes, created by Albert Eienstein which is where we will fold matter and space to create a shortcut from one area to the other like folding a piece of paper to create a meeting of the two sides and returning the matter and space to regular, but actually flying a spaceship through the million and trillions of miles to another star is for the most part out of the question, the nearest star is so far it would take about 10,000 years to get their.

Consider that the US can no longer put a man in space, and we haven't been back to the moon in 40 years, I'd say no.
If we get our act together, perhaps we'll see man reach Mars in our lifetimes.
I have serious doubts if we'll make it to another star for quite some time. Even probes launched years ago are just making it to the edge of our solar system.

It's not a likely possibility even with foreseeable science so forget that.
But with the sorts of resources you're talking about directed at our own solar system who knows what might come out of it.

We have already gotten there if we use the most powerful tool that humans have.
Thought.

probably in the 22nd century
