We are, by evolution, designed to understand what is needed to our survival. Vision gives us a perception of space to be hunters. Memory is there to remember where we will find food, giving us the notion of time.

Think of it; the farther we see in space, the farther we see in time. The moon is one second away, the sun, 8 minutes, the closest star, 4.5 years and distant galaxies, billion of years away. The past and therefore the big bang is not a point in space but a sphere around us and wherever we are in the universe, we can only observe it as being at its center. This is why, incidentally, we see stars and the Cosmic Microwave Background (CMB) evenly distributed in the sky.
As such, asking what is the center or the edge of the universe is pointless. It doesn't mean anything. Likewise, considering multiple universes as beans in a jar is wrong. ... but I can't tell you what is right! ;-)
For the First Question..
NO..The Universe is not Infinite !!! The Observable Universe is about 42 or so Billion LY's across..and as You know I Guess..it's 13.6 Billion Years old..
The Answer to the Second Question is a rather Unsure NO..
Because since June 2011..Scientists have involved themselves to find Possible Collision Patters with Universes Parallel to ours in the CMBR Datas obtained from WMAP and ESA's latest Probe as well..and they have come up with some compelling evidence that Parallel Universe might exists in Unison with ours but still their claims are not conclusive..

I'm not sure about infinite in size, but I know there's a theory that our universe was made by explosions/collapsings from older universes which will be unable for us to acces. But the theory says that there is more than one universe (so the big bang happened because of other universes)
