Are people in this section hackers

My friend (ausgirl) posted a question about a UFO siting in Australia, but instead she was bashed by the amount of rude users talking about (Chinese lanterns). Her Y! profile is private but some guy bikenbeer2000 or something his a Top Contributor in this section seemed to know her questions? Is he stalking her account or something? She's pretty freaked out.. And surely he didn't search through all the categories on Y! just to look for her questions.

There's something weird going on here. When I saw this question, I remembered seeing ausgirl's question this morning. I'd wanted to answer it, because I've been to Batemans Bay and it was quite obvious that what was being reported as a UFO was actually the planet Venus, but I had to leave for an appointment, and couldn't answer then. After reading this question, I went and answered that question to that effect, and then scanned the other answers, and was amazed to see another answer, purportedly posted by "GeoffG"! This "GeoffG" had posted only 2 answers and had no best answers, so was obviously an imposter, even using my bio and avatar!

So be careful: there's someone out there pretending to be me!

As to Bikenbeer, he is one of the most valued contributors to this category. As someone else said, like me he probably just remembered ausgirl's questions. Actually, I wish my memory were that good!

I guess the moral is, don't believe everything you see on Yahoo!Answers!

Yahoo seems to be doing its job and has deleted at least one of the accounts impersonating me. However I just reported another one from the link you posted. This is very annoying and upsetting!

More likely that he just remembers other questions asked under that name.

I can't find a single answer ito that question that I'd describe as rude. By contrast, your friend was the first (and only) to call someone a freak. She asked what people thought it was and got answers. Then she accuses people of tryng to "avoid it being a ufo". If she was so convinced it was an alien spacecraft, why bother asking?
