Well the mayans predicted the end of the world would be in 2012 supposedly. But that is only said because the mayan calander ends this year. The mayans did predict other things that came true though. But most people got it from that movie 2012. Lets hope it doesnt really happen. Nobody knows.

It started with the Mayan 5000 year calendar ending. The 2011 calendar just ended. The world has been around for way more than 5000 years, it's still here and it will be for December 22, 2012.
