I don't get it!! It would have to keep making and making more space! Is there a wall or something?? Im interested...

Well, ..., even though the universe is Astronomically large it is finite and not infinite. The Universe has a finite mass, finite energy and a finite rate of expansion. It started off as a finite singularity with finite energy and finite mass. Thus, the universe is definitely finite.
Now what get's most people tripped up is this notion of expansion because in order for something to expand it must be growing ... right? Well, not exactly it rather it is changing shape and becoming more spread out..
For instance take a drop of water sitting on a table top. Initially it starts out as a bead and then it begins to spread out at a constant rate. Notice the water doesn't take up any new space rather it still occupies the same amount of space, it's just flatter. The same thing is happening to our universe. It's expanding ... yes! but it is also flattening out. No new mass or energy is being generated, the old mass is simply becoming more disorganized and the energy is falling to a lower potential yet remaining finite.

Sort of give the idea of the general geometry, how infinite matter fits in finite space.

The current theory of the universe provides that the universe is not infinite, but constantly expanding. Also just very large. It seems unending because we are unable to view past a certain point, even with our most powerful instruments. There becomes a point where our available vision just fades away, but the universe probably continues on from there.
In the end ALL we have is theories about it, and we don't really know anything for sure.
What causes the theoretical expansion is the motion and momentum caused by the Big Bang. The heat of big bang expanded all this stuff out from its original center and eventually everything cooled down to its current state, but just kept on going. As everything expands and moves apart from each other it stretches space out, making it bigger. This is explains the vacuum of space. But still, this is only a theory, not fact.
