Should the astronauts that claim they went to the moon be interrogated with a lie detector

If the astronauts who walked on the Moon are lying then they haven't been rewarded as well as they could have been. Those still alive should be living in the lap of luxury in their remaining years. You don't need a lie detector to prove that they DID in fact do what the films and images prove.

I'm tempted to post an idiotic answer with zero information content, because experience shows that Harry Heesters here usually picks such posts as best answer.

But instead I'm going to forego an easy 10 points, and just say that Harry is the worst kind of troll, and as such should be ignored.

What's the real purpose of this? They risked their lives and went up and to discover just what is there and to see the world in a great light. This was a feat that mankind did and today the guys are old and sit back smile and just glace up and know they did walk there. They had the right stuff.

Why? We have far more than their word that they went there. Do you even know how much material there is relating to the Apollo missions? It is a very long way from hearsay and the word of a dozen men.
