What is the farm animal with best nutrition value / food and time needed to reach maturity ratio

some animals need less food and time to reach the age and size when they can be slaughtered. I've been told insects have an excellent ratio, but I don't feel like breeding those.

Bonus points for mammals.

catfish have nearly a 1:1 feed to gain ratio....they also get big enough to eat in about a year
