Can someone tell me all I need to know about this career

Today I have been doing a little research on what I want to be when I grow up, since I am going to High School in August. I want to work with wild animals, that I know. I thought about being a wildlife vet and in high school I am taking vet courses or classes. I adore Steve, Terri and Bindi Irwin. I think their jobs are amazing. What would you call their jobs? I've seen things like Wildlife conservationist and herpetologist. Is this what its called? I want to do something like his job except I want to work more with big cats (if possible) than any other animals. (I'll probably have to work with mammals as a mammalogist) I want to travel around the world like he did and study, heal and put them in a better place. I have watched Bindi the Jungle Girl and liked how if a mother wasn't caring for her cub, Terri was able to bring it home and care for it. I want to do this as well. I understand that I should have some kind of veterinary background (I plan on that being my major). Also I have great broadcasting skills and would love to have a tv show such as Steve Irwin's, Bindi's and Animal Exploration with Jarrod Miller. I believe that's it, if you have seen any of those shows than you know what I'm looking for in a career.

I need these questions answered:
1. What is it called?
2. How much do they make yearly?
3. What kind of background (education wise) would I need?
4. Is there a way to get started on this career at age 14?

It's great that you have such high aspirations! I don't know what this would be called, I'm not sure that these people have an official title, unless you do want to be a veterinarian. Veterinarians can work with exotic animals and they can travel the world, study animals, and treat them. You may want to major in zoology or biology and complete a pre-vet program, and then attend veterinary college for another four years.
