There was a Red and Whitish spider in my room

there are no harmful red and whitish spiders.May have been just a harmless ground spider. With the onset of spring, you may spot more spiders in your room, but I seriously doubt any will pose any threat to you at all.http://bugguide.......

Should i be worried? I cant describe it because i was quick to kill it.
