That butterfly has colouration dimorphism between male and female (at least from what I can tell from this brief article). http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vindula_ars… Note the different colour pattern of the 2 pics showing each sex. Note also how the name is presented - Vindula arsinoe. The specific name, arsinoe is always written in lower case and the genus name, Vindula is always capitalised. This is global zoological convention.
