answers:
TQ say: The real reason why Hurricane Michael explosively intensify so quickly had to do with highly favorable environmental conditions: very warm gulf water temperatures and very low vertical wind shear.
- Condensation of the water vapor evaporated from warm waters is the fuel that drives tropical cyclones.
- Low vertical wind shear allows the thunderstorms to develop a broad and deep vertical structure that supports its internal structure and large-scale organization.
The reason why The Weather Channel (TWC) predicted CAT 3 when it almost reached CAT5 was b/c The Weather Channel did not predict CAT 3 when it almost reached CAT5.
