How did this Hurricane Michael explosively intensify so quickly?
Big weather channel predicted Category 3 but now it's almost Category 5.

The reason why The Weather Channel (TWC) predicted CAT 3 when it almost reached CAT5 was b/c The Weather Channel did not predict CAT 3 when it almost reached CAT5. NOAA's National Hurricane Center predicted CAT 3. TWC has a bad habit of issuing forecasts made by others and then claiming them as their own.
